Rhino-Clear Nasal Nebulizer Device
The RhinoClear system is a specialized nebulizer/atomizer for the nose and nasal sinuses. It is produced in Italy and is imported to the US by Advanced ENT. The nebulizer has been specifically designed to create an ideal micrometer droplet size that easily passes into the sinus passages with very little waste as “post nasal drip.” It also uses only a small volume of fluid so does not cause the “water boarding” effect that most people find terribly uncomfortable.
The most common nebulized solution is sterile saline (physiologic strength salt water), usually about a tablespoon (10-15mL). Depending on your diagnosis you may discuss with your doctor atomizing other solutions such as steroids, antibiotics, or biofilm-busting mild detergents.
We recommend the typical sinusitis or allergy patient nebulize once per day for maintenance during her specific allergy season. If allergy symptoms are worsening or if an infection exacerbation is coming on, begin nebulizing at least twice a day.
After nasal surgery we recommend nebulizing three times daily for two weeks, then twice daily for two weeks, then once daily for two more months at least.
This device is extremely easy to use, store, clean and travel with. No cords tubing or cables. It runs on AA batteries.

Multiple scientific research studies have identified rinse bottles and Net pots as being not only ineffective at adequate irrigation but also potentially dangerous as bacteria and debris may actually be pushed deeper into the sinuses by these high-volume rinses. Big news was made in 2012 when two sinusitis sufferers died from meningitis linked back to their Neti pots.

The RhinoClear device is cleaned by hand, using warm water and mild detergent. Be sure to disassemble the device first so every surface can be washed. You may also rinse it with vinegar after cleaning. Allow the device to air dry before re-assembling. It is recommended you clean the device every day when in use. It may be sterilized using a simple a bleach/water solution in your home.
