Dr. Alexis Goldberg attended Auburn University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 2014 followed by her Doctorate of Audiology in 2019. She completed her residency working between Advanced ENT Associates and Advanced Hearing Centers. Dr. Goldberg was hired upon completion of her residency to perform diagnostic audiological evaluations, conduct tinnitus evaluations and management strategies, monitor chemotherapy patients using ototoxic medication, and perform hearing aid fittings and cerumen management.
As an audiologist, Dr. Goldberg has had experience with a wide variety of populations among an array of clinical settings including ENT clinics, private practice, and hospitals. Her specialty involves diagnostics and fitting hearing devices combined with her expertise and counseling skills to execute a positive experience for each individual patient. Her goal is to empower her patients to instill the confidence necessary to take the next step toward improved hearing and a better quality of life.
She is licensed to practice within the state of Georgia and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in the field of Audiology. This indicates that she has voluntarily met rigorous academic and professional standards and obtains the knowledge, skills, and expertise to provide high quality clinical service and actively engages in ongoing professional development in order to keep certification current. Dr. Goldberg is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
